His debut, "Muana", is entitled from a Lingala word meaning "Child".
The album invites the listener into the musical world of one of the most remarquable upcoming voices in world and African music.
He started writing the songs of his album in June 2008 arranged by his very good friend Steve Bimamisa, who founded "Bimsum Production" and who is always going along with him.
Michael wrote the lyrics of all ten songs on "Muana" and even composed half of the album himself.
The album is made up with each of Michael's influences and is a blend of Congolese traditional music, pop, hip-hop, folk and Congolese rumba. It results in a unique however universal sound that naturally falls
into one category: spiritual world music.
